We were so proud to once again be a sponsor of NOHO Cinefest held here in The NoHo Arts District at The Laemmle Theater. The film festival that celebrated it's 6th year, hosted a ton of short films and features.
The opening night party was held at The Federal Bar. As my husband and I scanned the room, we quickly realized that three of our members were there, all with films in the festival. Ashleigh Nichols, from our Burbank location entered the festival with the short film she produced and wrote called, "I Can't Do This", and our NoHo member, Joey Clift's short animation, "Telling People You're Native American When You're Not Native Is A Lot Like Telling A Bear You're A Bear When You're Not A Bear" was written and directed by him. Lastly our amazing member and muralist, Kiptoe entered the short competition with his action filled piece, "Kiptoe Vs. Robot".
Not only did three of our members have films in competition, The Muse Rooms NoHo's boardroom was featured in the Gustavo Sampaio's short, "Coffee Run". It was really exciting to see our
space on the big screen.
Tim and I walked away from the week of events smiling. Not only do we live in the world's greatest entertainment city surrounded by amazing art, we know that part of the The Muse Rooms membership contributes to it's greatness. How could you not love that!
Congratulations to all of our members and to all of the film makers at NOHO Cinefest, we look forward to seeing you again next year.
